But First a Poem...
Letting go of balloons one by one, Releasing the dreams that had come undone.
The sorrows of life slipping away, Thus, the burden of that day.
The colorful dreams that pondered inside, now grace the open sky outside.
The world lit with love and care, As sadness no longer lingers there.
The balloons filled with hope, drift away, Heading for distant paths of serenity.
Letting go of balloons, no more sadness in sight, freedom and joy soaring to new heights!
-D.
I've used balloons to help let go. Putting my anger, fears, and sorrow into it and just letting go. The balloon drifts aimlessly, going further and further away from the person who made it.
The concept of a balloon and what it can do is limited by the imagination. It can bring out your inner child, brighten someone's day, creep someone out, send a message to a loved one in permanent slumber, it can be decoration for a celebration, or better yet, can become a dog. Whatever you designate it as it can be more than just a balloon.
